Heart attack symptoms

Heart attack occurs when a blood clot hinders the supply of blood to heart, in coronary artery.

This is a blood vessel which supplies oxygenated blood to heart tissues. The heart tissues are special kind of tissues which do not suffer from fatigue. They continuously pump blood to whole body from the birth of a person till his death. These cardiac muscles are only present in heart and cannot be found in any other part of body.

These muscles being extremely strong and fatigue-less on one side also have a weakness. They cannot bear the shortage of blood supply for a long time. Even stopping blood supply for only one second can prove fatal to them. This stopping of supply to heart muscles can cause damage or can completely destroy the part of heart which is referred to as heart attack.
