All 64 possible 3-letter combinations of the DNA coding units t, c, a, and g are employed both to encode one of these amino acids or as one of the three stop codons that alerts the ending of the series.When DNA can be decoded unmistakably, it just isn't achievable to predict a DNA series from its protein sequence.

Since most amino acids possess more than one codon, a bunch of achievable DNA sequences might represent the same protein sequence.
